    HAVANA, Cuba | Pope Francis, through the Apostolic Nunciature in Cuba, has announced the appointment of the priest of the Archdiocese of Havana, Fr. Silvano Pedroso Montalvo, son of a Baptist mother and Catholic father, as the new bishop of the Cuban Diocese of Guantánamo-Baracoa, in the most East of the Island.
