Every month Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church (CRPC) holds a Lauderdale Lead event in their fellowship hall. Lauderdale Lead features talks that are centered around helping individuals in Fort Lauderdale become better business people, parents, family members and friends to make their community a better place to work and live. Previous talks have focused on topics like thinking about the future and what kind of influence you are extending over others, as well as how important it is to have a solid group of believers surrounding you to uplift and encourage you in times of hardship. It is definitely the perfect time for Christian business people to come together and help their communities, help their businesses and help each other. No “get rich quick” schemes, no unethical worldly advice, just Christians helping Christians thrive living in the world, not of it.

Lauderdale Lead is specifically for local business people who want to learn about how to practice good business while still keeping God at the center of everything they do. In this day and age that is not always as easy as it sounds. Coworkers can be difficult, jobs can be frustrating, immoral shortcuts may look tempting, which is why CRPC is dedicated to helping those who are struggling keep the faith and keep good business practices alive at the same time. Even if you are not struggling to keep your head above water in the corporate world, Lauderdale Lead offers insight into practical techniques and ways of thinking that may serve even the savviest Christian.

“Become the leader you would follow at Lauderdale Lead.”

CRPC carries out the vision of Lauderdale Lead in the church community, recognizing the Gospel as the lens through which we should see everything in the world around us. CRPC’s values include this Gospel centrality perspective, a hopeful outlook for a life through Christ, a generational faithfulness to the Word of God in the present and the future, and a compassionate hospitality to the world in keeping with the Gospel. The church sees the image of God in all people, regardless of race, gender, age, culture or social status, ensuring that all are welcome within the CRPC Body.

    “Reconciling people, renewing all things.”
